Absolutely brutal course with virtually no path running
Picked up my floppy map and saw one was really hard so just took it very slow and nailed it. Next 6 controls just went to the other side of the map and only lost about 1 min here.
Had direction problems going into and out of 8 but kept a good pace up. Lost some time at 12 (30s) looking for a charcoal burning stone circle aye right. Last bit was really steep and technical so dropped pace and got through safely. Really pleased with podium only 1.5 mins off win.

3rd to no. 1 so major life goal achieved right there. Kept up the pace on the long leg with a bit of an overshoot. Pretty good throughout just bit hesitant and also lost about 3 mins misreading the butterfly loops so bit annoyed. Great race

Normal turned raucous bike ride. Climbed to about 400m and there was about 4 inches of snow for about 1.5km. Had zero grip so just skidding all over but good fun

Got dropped off about 14 miles away from granny and grandpas and cycled there with grace and dad. Weather was a bit grim but we had a massive tailwind

Don't really know how this happened but just left from school knowing I would do a tempo 5. Felt really good so just pushed on and got a 19.04 5km which is only 12 secs off my PB. Ks were 4.09, 3.49, .49, .44 and .30 so not bad
