I was supposed to do a six-mile run today, but I slept late, worked on Cherry Creek meet results, and went out for a birthday dinner instead.

I helped with set-up and starts, so I opted to just do Orange instead of making everyone wait on me while I plodded along on Red...

I made some incredibly stupid mistakes for an Orange course, but I still managed to finish third overall. Woo-hoo!

Very fun course, set by kissy. :-)

- Tyler Avenue hill x 4. (We did an out-and-back route, rather than the long downhill loop). Uphill times were 4:00, 3:29, 3:19 and 3:16.

- ~One-mile walk / jog to cool down.

We took it indoors today, due to all the snow on the trail we had planned to use. The indoor track is one-tenth of a mile.

- Jogged eight laps to warm up (67, 66, 66, 64, 63, 64, 63, 63).

- Two sets of the following workout:

      three laps at marathon pace
      three laps at 5k pace
      three laps fast ("all out")
      three laps recovery
      three laps fast ("all out")
      three laps recovery

- Walked one lap to cool down.
