Out-and-back on the Singletree-Mayhoffer trail.

I jogged the first 3.5 miles. My left foot started to hurt in a new way (sole of foot rather than the usual ball-of-foot pain I often get), so I stopped immediately and walked the remaining 1.5 miles. I have some new "semi-minimalist" shoes, so I'm paranoid about overdoing it and injuring myself...

  • Dynamic stretching, stair-climbs x 3, and medicine ball drills to warm up.

  • "The Gauntlet" -- for time:

    - 500 meter run
    - Stair climbs x 5
    - Rope climbs x 5 / 3
    - 300 meter run
    - Ball slams x 30 (40# / 30# -- I used 20#)
    - Toes to bar x 25
    - 200 meter farmers carry "heavy" (I used two 35# kettlebells -- heavy enough for me!)
    - Pushups x 30 / 20
    - Box jumps x 40 (24" / 20")
    - Burpee-hurdles x 40 (short ~6" hurdle)

    Finally getting back into a workout routine...

    - 400m jog, jumping jacks x 40, and dynamic stretching to warm up.

    - Theee rounds to warm up: 20# ball slams x 10 / box hops x 10 / dot-jumps x 10.

    - Deadlift warmup with increasing weight.

    - For time -- five rounds: deadlift x 10 / abmat sit-ups x 30. Prescribed weight for women was 155#, but I used 95# instead. 10:44.

    - 500m row and stretching to cool down.
