Cross fit session. Warm up was a bit less nuts this time, but still got the pulse racing. Then some double under practice before the WOD. 15-12-9 of Dball ground to shoulder, Dball lunges, then 75 double unders. I used the 15kg Dball which she said was too easy, but the next one they have is 40kg, so I did double the lunges instead. Surprised to be about as good at double unders as I was when I last did Cross Fit, which was better than most but still not good. Got one run of 30 in a row which I was dead chuffed with. By the end of the workout my pelvic floor was not in great shape, which is the first time I've noticed that since giving birth. Then finally some candlestick lowers - I definitely have a deep muscle still not working at 100 percent, as these felt weird and I hit a point where I just couldn't move further.

Re-starting the half marathon plan. Let's see if I manage to make it stick this time! 5 minute tester run, and it felt spectacular. My legs just flowed, my chest felt great, and the speed was the fastest 1k I've run since joining Strava in 2017. Did the Cross Fit just wake up a bunch of fast twitch fibres and remind them what to do?!? Continued for half an hour after that on a sunny day, before Mum and Dad got back from the JK. I should get my act together to actually go next year.
