Individual Training (Boxing Bout ) 10:00 [4]

Did my 3rd out of 5 boxing bouts today. I dropped a weight class and am now fighting in the 160 weight. I had a lot of advantages over this kid, height, southpaw, possibly skill. I did very well and won the fight. 2 one minute rounds plus warm up and cool down.

Orienteering (Good Harriman Run ) 55:00 [4]
shoes: Speed cross 3

Unfortunately could not tell the exact distance because I forgot to stop my watch. It was a good run that went a little over the allotted time at Harriman state park. Some solid climb throughout that got really tiring towards the end. A wrong turn added about 1.5 miles to our trek. Could tell the exact distance but it was definitely over 5 miles.

Individual Training (GPB Ruck) 1:30:00 [4] 7.5 mi (12:00 / mi)

Did the ruck for the German Proficiency Badge. This is a 7.5 mile ruck where you have 35 pounds on your back. The route was the farthest sally port on Ike to Thayer gate 3 times. We did the whole run to a lightpost, walk to the next then run to the next thing and made great time. Got a small blister but nothing too serious.

Individual Training (Boxing ) 30:00 [3]

I haven't been logging boxing because U really didn't think it applied to orienteering but I heard I should log it as cross training. Today was lesson 15 of the 19 lesson course. We reviewed all of our punches and finished learning the Uppercut. We spared in the ring for one minute at full contact. Next two lessons will be graded bouts of 2 minutes.

Orienteering (Sprint Course ) 37:10 [3] 3.1 km (11:59 / km)
shoes: Speed cross 3

Sprint course on post, a whole lot of climb, especially from point 6 to point 7. My watch wasn't running the climb but i'm guessing 300 or more meters for the whole course. Good little course with a lot of forest work that allowed me to practice CAR and ABC. Before hand we knocked out about 10 minutes of Luke's Abs.
