Note

To sum up the weekend, I'm fitter than I was at Easter, but I can't navigate as well at the speed I'm running at. Need to sort that out before WUOC.


Sprint started well but was feeling flat running and didn't push it enough at after the spectator.

Middle felt good running, just scrappy and bleeding time everywhere. Running with Rob Walter till I stacked it out of 19 and didn't see him after that.

Long, first 5 controls were great caught Toby 2mins, 6 lossed a bit on routechoice then just never saw the control (another ~4mins). Ran with Simon from 7 till 18 where I was a bit slower out of the gully and he disappeared even though we took the same route on that leg?? And just didnt finish it off properly. Didn't feel too physically wrecked at the end but really poor result.

Busy so squeezed in a quick run round uni. 2x 1km to test the legs out. 3.30(on dirt), 3.17(road and dirt). Felt pretty comfortable, calves sore but legs feeling good for the weekend
