Running warm up/down 14:00 [3] 1.5 km (9:20 / km)

This was actually a false start at orienteering. My maps did not have control descriptions so I returned for a restart.

Saturday morning was our first trip to Bruce Pit since the tornado. The trail system in the southern sector of the dog park has been obliterated. We will never again run side by side on our +2k loop. Ziggy will never again cool off in his swimming hole. I now have no idea where is the poison ivy.

On that note, from the work in Dunrobin, I have reacted to poison ivy inside my right wrist, just below the end of the work gloves.

Note

Ziggy has done something to his right forearm. On the way to Bruce Pit north from Hunt Club, damage from the Arlington Woods tornado was obvious. Because of Ziggy coming up lame, I did not explore as intended.

The Dunrobin tornado also touched down in Mont Bleu. Gatineau Park is closed and orienteering was cancelled.

Going to clinic this morning, I learned I am strep free but my cold is still contagious in day 8.
