Balmedie DNC short. My map contact was non existent, still feel very random and out of control orienteering because i’ve hardly done any at all recently. Don’t feel i have a process for each control. Legs were feeling strong and fast though, even in the sand pits.

Ballater and back. South deeside first to get it over with, big headwind the whole way so slogging along, extras training gains though. Nice and fast home along N deeside.

Happy new years! The first part of our 'triathalon' - Into Banchory, Strachan and Glen Dye with the worst gusting head winds! Then over shooting greens to potties and back.

Jog down to the river, kirsty waiting with the car and our warm jammies for after! Had my booties on but was still unbearably cold, only lasted around 10 seconds
Local gym has been closed for a week until the 3rd due to the covid outbreak in banchory, so resurrected our 2020 lockdown home gym with Luke. Has a very old bar and free weights but it’s a guessing game for how much everything weighs, but does the trick.
