Dark wet and windy cycling tester with Kirst Dicky, the only person I knew I could count on coming out with me in these can conditions! Flat route to porta B and back on innocent railway. Both knees just pretty uncomfortable from the start but didn't really get worse. Very achy afterwards. Looks like no cycling for a while still

My head felt really weird and sore, thought my goggles were maybe too tight or something but loosened them and didn’t help. Got out after half an hour cos i just felt like shit. Maybe dehydrated? Had a field trip on the seat most of the day which it rained for most of it and then swimming at porta B after the pool, so overall a very soggy day

Meadows knee tester. Spoke with JC last night, he said to stay away from any incline as it will be putting outwards pressure on my knee cap and also to try a higher cadence/faster pace which i’ve noticed before doesn’t hurt my knee as much. Encouraging run, no pain until around 2.8k but nothing above 1, then stayed at <1 for rest of the run so happy enough. Bit of tarmac, bit of grass, tarmac makes the muscles work less so going to do more tarmac runs but figured i couldn’t just jump straight into it.
