Pressendye hill race- 1st junior, 3rd overall female. Took the first phase of the climb up through the trees pretty comfortable, wasn’t sure how the legs would be after this week. Got to the first open feeling good so picked it up there and kept going steady to the cairn. Descent was fun, went a bit hard at first so calmed down in the woods as i knew id stretched out a decent gap. Cruised in feeling good. No where near full pace but glad i held back after a hard week.

loch vaa (the nice bits) solo-O sweat sesh. Really fun, got a good flow going in the grassy birch area, planning ahead and picturing attack points and control circles. Spring watch- Saw a capercaillie for the first time and an unidentifiable animal, potentially a wildcat but didn’t get a good enough look.

meall a bhuachaille - Took the top trail to the green loch then up to ryvoan bothy, meall a bhuachaille, creagan gorm, creag a chaillich, craiggrowrie then down to the loch via badaguish. Very pleasant, do again, but maybe wear more sun cream.

Loch vaa (the less nice bit next to boat) The area is actually lush i just found it pretty hard. Everything was pretty vague so kept getting to where i thought the control should be but not being able to match up the contours. Scouted about a bit and would realise i actually was right. Focused on bearings and distance judgment.
