Kat and i decided to do a wee tester run, all round i think a pretty positive outcome on the injuries. Half a meadows lap. Saw the girls at the end of their long run so they joined, think thats the first 4/4 flat run.

Kat and eilidh back oot on the bikes :) Had my garmin paused for big chunks of this, including one of the climbs, so manual upload but gps is on strava, did this route with david last year and forgot how nice it was. In reverse could be fun as well

Duddingston down to porta b and along through joppa to get onto the innocent railway back to the seat. Jenny had to leave for a live so the rest was solo. Did a moderate effort seat lap and then went exploring. Did a couple climbs on the hill just behind the park, got a crown on Lillyhill terrace which I think might be my first cycling crown in edi? Keen to go do some sort of hill sprint session on all those climbs one day. L Knee doing much better with adjusted cleat position, but could still feel it and stiffened up once I was home but think thats because it was colder in my flat than outside and i sat around in my wet kit for too long.

On Issys bike again as mine was being used. Out to Roslin glen and the polton climb. Legs still tired from saturday and the what felt like a constant battle against the wind meant a rather slow grindy ride. Will be back to do the polton climb the opposite way, think we went up the easier side.

Seat lap and Dalkeith cp with luke on my bike and me on issys bike. First proper ride for a while, feel like i have zero cycling leg strength now after pretty much only swimming for the last few weeks. But just glad that my knee is holding up okay and can hopefully cycle over the holidays.

alter-g 75%. Knee started to get sore around 20mins :( Increased the pace to see if it made a difference, not really any pain at sub 4:30-4s but came back when i dropped the pace back down so called it quits. Nothing more that a 2-2.5.
