Running 20:00 [2] 3.4 km (5:53 / km) +56m 5:26 / km

rehab run. Sticking at 20 minutes for a wee while. Introducing some rolling hills. My knee feels comfy on hills, more than on flats, but not so great on downhills unless its a very gentle gradient that I can lean forward on. Steep descents irritate it a lot, found this also when out walking (scolty, morven etc) as there's a lot of downwards force and weight on a single leg. Think this is a good route across the road as its steeper climbs and then a long gradual descent. Knee a bit achy at start, 1-1.5, but felt good once warmed up after 5 mins. Plan was to go out to lumphanan and over the glen road to Tornaveen and back over the Learney but got to torphins but decided that anything other than the main roads would still be too icy, everything seems to be covered in this frozen snow. No real plan after this, got 100m up the shooting greens hill but that was too slippy. Aborted to a toms cairn, finzean and strachan loop, all roads were fine. On kirsts bike, so set up wasn't quite right and could feel some strain up the side on my left foot/ankle so didn't want to be out for too much longer as it was uncomfy, but lovely sunny conditions, no wind but baltic in the shade. Was easily holding 30 up most of the way, definitely feeling stronger on the bike. Knee fine.
