my first metrogain - was great fun.
the 90 minutes went by in a flash.
made a mistake at the top of the hill in melville and didn't go an extra 200m for point number 39.
cost us second place to Garry and Mike.
Brian and his partner however did 19.2km and 1540 points compared to out 1380. so worthy winners.

disappointing 4th leg - couldn't find the marker and then couldn't find the pit. lost a good 3 mins...

legs feeling heavy, especially on the up hills
ran with the go pro - a bit embarrassing in places. like falling into the river...
went to teh wrong number 4 initially so got value for money. then veered a bit right on the long up hill...

route choice and first control intervals round the town. I was paired with Alex and mike, played catch up for many of the legs.
