Whiteman Park H1.
Pretty simple course so it was close to flat out running the whole way. I knew Sten would be hard to beat so that kept the pressure on to to try to be efficient and keep pushing. Just one little mistake on 4 where the control was marked on a knoll but the description was depression so I went into it expecting that it might be in the wrong place so didn't really try to read the map properly and checked out a bit of green to the north on my way in. Felt as though I was pushing too hard all the way but whenever I checked how much there was left it didn't look like much so thought I'd better keep pushing. Ended up 45 seconds behind Sten, 25 of which was on the first control which we did the same way. Never noticed anything hurting.

Putting out controls at Mt Billy. We were going to tape last weekend but that wasn't possible due to lockdown so decided to skip taping and go straight to putting out controls since the event is now only a week away. On our way home we found out there had been more covid cases in Perth so now hoping we don't have to collect the controls again without ever using them.

Checking and moving a few controls after adjusting the courses a bit to avoid some fire affected areas with a lot of prickly moses regrowth. Maps seems a bit dodgy in the far South.

Short interval session with Matt. Liam's tennis was cancelled due to the rain so we went from home and ran around Rosalie Park rather than Reabold. Matt's injury is slowly improving but still there so just did a short session. 6x400 around the footy oval with 1min rests and a longer 3min rest in the middle. My Achilles felt fine today.
