Long slow run around KP sticking mostly to soft surfaces. Started feeling tired about half way through.

Easyish run in KP after work. A little bit sore from gym yesterday. Good moonlight so was fine without a headlamp.

Michal's training at Black Swan Island. Mass start race with forking. I had the same course as Andries but was behind from the start and never really saw him until we crossed paths near 17/18 of 20. Lost a bit of time on 11 and 20, failing to spot the tape because I didn't read the description. Also had a bad exit direction from 6.

Easy run in KP after work, testing the new headlamp we got for Amy from Bunnings. It was pretty good, even the low mode was plenty bright enough. Pain levels seem to be gradually reducing.

Staying at work until 6:30pm seemed more appealing than going out running at 6:30pm so I decided to go out for a run at lunch time. Rachel hadn't been for her run yet either due to the rain so we set out together. I wanted to do something a bit shorter and harder than her long run so I peeled off after 20 minutes and did the first 5 efforts of GA's 5/8 surge course.
Felt awful running up the hill to the start of the first effort but soon felt a lot better once I got into the efforts. Fairly happy with the pace given my year of doing almost nothing but I haven't compared with previous efforts yet. Got through it reasonably well but glad not to be tackling the full course.
