Training plan said 20 miles today but I don't feel I've been coping all that well so I decided to just aim for around 2.5 hours at an easy pace instead.
Started out on the old Darlington Winery loop with Rachel and Virpi but turned down into the valley at Glen Forrest Dve, where they headed for home, and ran up O'Connor Rd instead. Started to get a bit sore in the feet after the climb but apart from that I thought I was feeling reasonably comfortable at the end. Early on I was thinking the X-Talons felt good and I was feeling fairly sure I would use them for 6 inch but now I'm thinking I might go with the frees instead.

Managed to sneak in one match of singles while Amy was at a birthday party and Liam was at Monty's house. Had a 4-2 4-1 win against Stephen C then had a bit of a hit with Rhett before I had to go.

Success!! Got a "Hi" from Hubert as he rode past near Pelican Point.

Out and back around the river easing the heart rate up to 140 and then trying to hold it there. Legs felt pretty heavy. I'm a little surprised how fast it was, I was guessing I was in the 4:50-5:05/km range for the bit around the river.

Moonlit midnight meander around KP followed by 4x1200 with 2min jog recovery on Rosalie Park.
Felt quite good on the 1200s but maybe that was just because I was going a lot more slowly than I thought I was. Running in the dark always seems to feel faster than it really is.
