From Brown Park up to the falls and down the Eagle View trail until it turned away from the river and I kept going cutting through the bush back to the rail trail. Stopped to help a lost looking girl on the way up but it isn't easy to work out where you are on the railway trail when you have been running without a map and I didn't want to stop for long. I think I pointed her in the right direction but I spent much of the rest of the run wondering if I had.

Got stuck behind lots of groups of 4 on the narrow eagle view trail. Did manage to give one girl a really good fright as I tried to overtake off path so that made up for it a bit.

Took a couple of different tracks on the way back and then followed some guy with a map who looked as though he knew where he was going and that got me back to my outward route. Did a bit of walking up the hills and eating to practice for Friday.

Short loop around the bottom of KP with Rachel. Couldn't go with Rachel's pace at the start but the Thomas Rd crossing allowed me to catch up. Kept up ok after that and got more comfortable with the pace as I warmed up. Did a couple of 30 second efforts at 1500m pace around the lake during Rachel's toilet stop.

Easy run around KP. Started out with Rachel up the sand track where we met Alan in the middle. Ran together up to the top and then down the broadwalk where Rachel peeled off. Back up the sand track with Alan taking a little shortcut to get back to his sandals where I left him and ran back by myself. Felt pretty good running back home apart from my left hip which was getting a bit sore. Stopped at Rosalie park for some high knees and bounding which hurt the upper calves just a little.

5x30sec hills on Poole Ave. Supposed to be 6 but I thought I could feel the left glute tightening up a bit on the 5th so decided that was enough.
