Got off to an intentional slow start to get into the map. I felt pretty hesitant throughout. I was with Julia pretty much from the start to 4, my first major mistake where I thought Julia was too low and hadn't kept track of my location well enough. Turns out I was too high and wasted about 2 minutes there. Caught up with Pia and Allison going to 9 and Julia going to 10, and I led the group too far south on 11. Some route choice errors on 1 and (maybe) 6 and bobbles on the approaches of a lot of controls, but also no major mistakes aside from 4.

I think I was sore from soccer games because I slowed down a lot mid race. Almost blew by the first control so took the next section kinda slow. I got of on my bearing going to 12 and lost a bit of time there, also lost about a minute on 21, again due to bearing.

Came to practice an hour and a half late and really stressed about SAT subject tests, AP tests, track subdistricts, the physics lab that both me and my lab partner are missing the rest of the week for (and I've been doing all the work for), and Team Trials. Luckily, I didn't end up having my fourth soccer game in 5 days tonight, so I got to do a nice track workout alone instead.

2 sets of 600 (200 rest), 400 (100 rest), 200 (150 rest) at 2 mile, mile+ a little, mile pace, slightly faster second set. Hit my times pretty well at 2:17, 88, 86, 2:16, 87, 85. Not super fast and I was kinda tired but felt good for a first real workout in a few weeks
