Race went reasonably well today. Started out failing to pace count, so 1 was slow, then screwed up 8, but overall, I came in 4th, and it was relatively smooth and I knew where I was most of the time, which is a plus.

Sprint went pretty well. I found each control okay but didn't stay ahead of myself as much as I would have liked and made some questionable micro-route choices. Finished 4th with 1 main mistake at the last control

First mile of the season. I was disappointed that I didn't get under 6 minutes, but I still have one more chance to do that this season.

Stomach was feeling bad all day, then about halfway into the run it felt really bad and I had to stop and walk. It would fade away and I would try running again, but it would get painful soon and I would have to walk again. Probably ran about 3 miles of it.
