Long run out on the trail. Most boys only going 10miles so flipped with them. Ended up with the last 6 miles solo which was a bit of a grind. Legs never felt great but no real bonk. Definitely felt better. Another solid week.

Easy Newman with a few of the lads. Got kicked off at the end of the run which makes that a hattrick in the last 7 days. Will get Gauson to have a word with them, will just get insta stressified if can’t run on the GC.

8 mile tempo.

Solo job out along the trail. Been non stop rain the last 2 days so trail was in a bit of a state. Knew splits would be all over the gaff so decided to put the watch in the back pocket. First 5 miles out along the trail with some very slow splits hitting some muddy sections where it was an effort to keep moving. Got a bit of road for 2miles and started shifting hitting some 3:10s then back on the trail for the last mile, slowing to 3:15s. Overall felt really good and think this is a pretty solid shift considering the conditions. Really nice not having to constantly look down to check pace and just run off feel.

Decent one, just ticking off 73s feeling fairly controlled. Nice rainy conditions and weirdly enjoyed the solo grind. Was planning on anywhere between 8 and 12 reps. Started feeling it on the 8th rep a little bit so called it at 10. Happy with it overall. Somewhat depressing that this was my 5k pace from a few weeks back, but definitely can swing it in a positive way.

Got an exam today, probably should do some work. Left ITB been a bit dead last 3 days (flared up a little bit after the tempo). Think it’s all good just feels like a standard bit of fugma. Survived the LR yesterday so no stress.
