Running 41:45 [2] 8.21 km (5:05 / km) +45m 4:57 / km
shoes: Saucony Guide ISO

Plod round the fields in the rain. Very enjoyable. Could feel knee for the whole run was quite niggly but think I’ll still do the fell race tomorrow because I reckon I can run this one off. Also really liked the pace on this run will definitely be doing it more often.

Running 16:14 [2] 3.41 km (4:46 / km) +21m 4:37 / km
(injured) shoes: Saucony Guide ISO

Was planning on a nice 25mins or so round bannerdown common. Knee started stiff but then got progressively worse to the point where I was limping so I called it a day. Will have to sack off the hill race on saturday and take the weekend off. Ah well.

Absolute disaster of a run along the canal. First of all it was raining but that's ok because I like running in the rain. Thought I'd go at a nice steady pace for the first bit but almost instantly started getting stomach camps, so had to keep stopping and eased the pace down. Cramps might be due to that bacteria so will get another blood test to check. Around half way I notice that my right knee was quite stiff but just ignored it and trudged on. Then about 1km from the end it suddenly started to hurt quite a lot and with 600m to go I started limping so sacked it off and walked in. Was trying some new insoles today so those are probably the cause. Will rest up tonight, throw away the insoles and go again tomorrow.

Hilly medium length run. Bit longer than intended as I went the wrong way a couple of times. 3 big climbs, feeling a bit heavy and tired for some reason. Made this whole run a bit of a grind especially on the last big climb. Just ground it out at a slightly higher effort than usual as just wanted to get in done. Looking forward to a nice flat run tomorrow.
