Shorter Morton hall SLR with some boys. Only got 4/5 hours sleep which wasn't great. First pre breakfast long run in months, felt relatively good most of the way round. Had some really bad chafing which was a bit unpleasant. Pace was pretty razzy but nothing crazy. Biggest week of running this year which is great but need to keep a lid on things.

Did the 12mins way too fast so was a bit fooked for the rest of the session. Hit a slower pace for the 8 (had more climb) but was still decent enough. Just stuck a gurn on for the 4min and managed another ok pace. Quite happy overall with the session was moving pretty decent. Was hard solo but nice to have the support of Dan and Tam x

Out to crammond to watch the 5k with Dan. Boys absolutely flying was lovely to see. Absolutely crawling there and back but logging it because its the only exercise I've done today.

Blackford with Ali and Gregor. Legs feeling a bit dead and stomach wasn't good but was still a pleasance experience. Think I should just simmer a little bit with the running, don't want to get too excited and then get injured again.

Meadows Session: Lap Tempo, 6x400, Lap Tempo (varied recovery)

Despite the fairly lengthy recovery’s, this was one of the toughest things I’ve done for a long time. Felt really good on the first tempo just sitting in with the pack. Was absolutely holding on for dear life on the 400s but was happy that the pace didn’t drop off too much (haven’t done anything that fast in months). On the last tempo Alex and Dan dropped and I got insta dropped by Tim and Ali so was a solo grind the whole way. Thought I was running 3:40s but was pleasantly surprised to see that I sped up a bit from the first Tempo. All in all a pretty good outcome :)
