Scottish Relay Champs
Basically everyone except ali had a mare on first leg so I set off about 4mins behind tam. Just cruised most of it which was probably a good tactic, would most likely have got a much slower time if I pushed harder. Shitting myself the whole time that Nixon was going to catch me but just about held off that 6min cushion. Came back an extra 1min down on tam due to a bit of scrappy nav generally and a 1min mistake on #17. Not the best team performance but was fun nevertheless.

Scottish champs - 2nd
Not really motivated for this one. Pretty slow and trudgy the whole way round. Made a 2min mistake quite early on at #3 in a vague af area. Made a couple more 1min/30s route choice mistakes, aswell as dying fairly hard and generally running slow. Fairly surprised with the result. Very average run. Nice to get a 1-2 with my good friend.

Pre-Breakfast Seat, bonking pretty hard as soon as I started climbing the struggle was real. First time up the Seat since before injury (Feb) forgot how much of a grind it was. Good fun.

Meadows 2 Mile Race
Tucked in behind Ali for the first lap, felt alright but not particularly strong. Started to die at the start of the second mile, Ali pulled away was just hanging onto Jonny. As I rounded the last corner jonnny began pulling away and a rapidly closing Tim was now my main concern. Just held him off but was pretty scared. Overall not the greatest of runs but not terrible either. Was aiming to go under 10 so just missed that. Pretty good threshold session but just felt was lacking a bit of mental strength in the closing km.

Wanted to do a session, but about 200m into my warm up I realised that wasn't happening. Footy yesterday completely fucked both hips and groin so doing a fast speed session probably would have done more harm than good. Just razed it out for 30 mins instead. Might do 2 miler tomorrow as a bit of a speed session.
