Great run around all the climbing areas I'd visited before.
Lovely area although I messed a few easy controls mid way through and got passed by Christian Nielsen at no8.
So got the psyche back!

Miserable weather but perfect temperature for racing.
Had a perfect race up to no9 where I missed the control by about 5m and lost around 4mins!
Also a slight error at the end with a confusion of paths - but an excellent course.

Steep and tough for the 1st day of competition. Felt good but v hot and quite dehydrated by the water control.
Didnt like the middle 2k path slog...or the 450m to the start triangle!
Made errors early on and a huge one as my brain got tired a the end - missed by 8mins! (didnt think I could do that big a mistake) - was 10m from the control!!
Still - amazing terrain. Love it!
