ORIENTEERING race (Longshaw National) 1:35:00 [4] *** 11.0 km (8:38 / km) +450m 7:10 / km
slept:4.0 weight:62kg shoes: OLWAY Tigers

I was really looking forward to this event, after the success of the Chasing sprint the day before. But I was disappointed.

I really enjoyed the first 10 controls. Then we got to the shitty part. Completely unavoidable for the planners (glad we didnt have anything like this for the saturday) but the 6 minute trog with tapes to another control was desperate and I got cold and bored.
Also the next leg was actualy the shittest thing in the world. Boulders+Moss+Running = CRAP. Didn;t like it at all. I'm not in a boo, just didnt like it.. and made worse by the rain. The rest of the course I was just tired after celebrating at the SPOOK Meal, not eating much brekkie and running lots the day before. Energy levels = 0.

Ah well, I got a nice wilfs from Haze and it was all good. Captains Memorial Followed and was a spectacular turnout with SPOOK winning everything except the footie - 2-0.. who'd heard of such a thing?!

RUNNING warm up/down (Warming Up) 45:00 [2] 5.0 km (9:00 / km)
shoes: OLWAY Tigers

Cold and Wetness running to the start / running back from the finish in a bitter wind. Didn;t like the cold.
