Legs were pretty tight the first mile (~8:40), loosened up after that (7:45's).

Biked along the canal path. First few/last miles were paved, rest was gravel. Rode my mom's hybrid bike, fit like a mountain bike, but was pretty stiff. Did a couple fast 0.5miles on the last couple miles of the bike trail.
