Orienteering (British Sprint Champs) 30:07 [5] *** 4.0 km (7:32 / km) +55m 7:03 / km
spiked:22/22c shoes: Nike Air Relentless

Olympic Park, Course H13
Preparation for the event was far from ideal, so that may have impacted on performance somewhat, coupled with the enforced lack of training recently. The course itself was fast and furious, and pace by my standards was good. Nav was pretty much spot on, save for accidentally punching the wrong control before #18, due to getting confused as to what was out of bounds and what wasn't (which seeing the number of disqualifications obviously caused some issues) and trying to play it safe. Kept a little in reserve so I wouldn't be exhausted for the finals later.

Orienteering race (British Sprint Champs) 24:30 [5] *** 3.2 km (7:39 / km) +55m 7:03 / km
spiked:19/19c shoes: Karrimor D30

Olympic Park - Course 1C
The finals were met with torrential rain, which made things rather interesting. Conditions were rather tricky, and the fact that it was very slippery slowed the pace, especially on any grassy slopes, which immediately became lethal. Nav was good again, though almost screwed up the final control as didn't check whether it was the right one until after the finish, though thankfully it was.
