Lap of the uni then to the gym and back. Achilles paratenon sore since run on Wed and hurt at the beginning. Calf didn't seem to tighten as much today. Will have to hit with the voltaren again tonight. Booked massage for Mon.

Isotonics 3 x 8 @ 20k - dropped the weight back because of the calf

Late ride to work after the electrician came around to fix some defects. I've made some progress with fitness according to my average HR.

Ride home. Easiest one yet. First time without nasty chafing too.

Another easy jog this one with quite a few stops to stretch my left soleus. It just tightened up again each time. Left calf also felt a bit useless for the weights. Otherwise I felt pretty good and the achilles was well behaved. Good signs.

Achilles was sore yesterday morning, not the diffuse pain I now associate with the actual achilles but the lateral, more specific pain I associate with the paratenon. Maybe the tight soleus triggered it. Did some release work on the calf and did the voltaren wrap again last night. It was mostly better this morning.

This run was generally pretty good but the left calf tightened up again, starting only a few minutes into the run.

Isotonics 3 x 8 @ 20kg
