Paperbark flats. not as thick as advertised, but a fair bit of weaving through small trees and a bit junky on the ground - it certainly wasn't easy going. not sure how I was going to hold up - I'm still not feeling 100%, so just tried to keep things clean and moving smoothly. had a few little wobbles and overshot 9 a bit cos the map was funny but mostly ok, and tried not to be too much of a wuss and keep moving in the thick stuff. got a bit tired towards the end.

feeling less sick but more gross and snotty. hoping to be better enough tomorrow to go to O. apparently its too thick to run much anyway. From the organisers notes - "Clothes should be ones to which you have no emotional attachment."
Physio. my normal physio is taking 4 years worth of leave and doing a massive euro trip so they have a locum who is really good and found new and painful things to fix.
