Rogaine training with Wendy. Took my pack loaded up with water and found that my sports bra digs a hole in my shoulder under the pack strap. Good things to figure out before next weekend.

not quite as cold. beautiful brissie winter morning.

Night nav + the run to the start. the event was in anzac park, but I still only just made it to start before the cutoff. First proper night nav with maprun, so I needed a few tips from Juliana before I ran. started thinking I'd only do a shorter run, but then got going ok. had a few issues not knowing whether controls had beeped. at some point I decided to go for all the high pointers, then added in a few extra controls and ended up having to hoof it to get back on time. then it didn't beep for a while so I got some points taken off.

follow up post race tips from Juliana were to update the app for better satellite connection, and how to claim points you ran to but didn't beep. planning a better route is all on me.

also this was a better run than most recent ones, but a bit stiff afterwards.
