Mtb at castle hill with Dan and his mates. Haven't ridden there before. Pretty techy trails but managed to avoid any dramas. Beers in the carpark afterwards

Commute only - bailed on trolls. hammy and calf ok, but overall cbf high. v tired. beautiful morning out.

Note

Physio reckons that my hammy was just getting bullied into failure by my hip stabilisers, aductors and calves. lots of needles. the ones in the calves hurt a lot, and its still very sore now. she taped my calve up as well cos she reckoned it would make me feel better - 'like a wiggles bandaid for athletes'.

Running 25:00 [2]
(injured)

Run fail. Planned run hfw. R glute/ piriformis started off tight but eased quite quickly. Really good for about a km then R hammy started to tighten. Very soon couldn't run at all. Msged Dan to let him know i would be a while walking home but then came and picked me up. Yay Dan taxi!
Pain is similar to when my hammy shat itself pre China but this came on more of a cramp than a tear. And it doesn't have a hole in it this time. Lucky i have my regular physio booking on Thurs.
