Note

recovery river loop got canned thanks to a sleep in (and very strong gusty wind). rolled down to watch cyclocross in the park in the afternoon. looks like it could be quite fun. the oceania champs cowbell got some good use.

Running long 2:25:00 [3] 22.0 km (6:35 / km) +1300m 5:05 / km
ahr:144 max:165

Long run from Clare's, with Clare and one of her triathlon friends (Marianne?). The usual run through gap creek, out to south boundary and boscome rd. C & M headed back then and I went back up magic and 3 sisters, down to simpsons falls and back via ch9. Legs were a bit unhappy with me after simpsons falls, but felt pretty strong to the end.

The pool was perfect leg numbing temperature, then got stuck into an awesome breakfast feast. porridge with steel cut oats, scrambled eggs, sausages and boonah bacon, and coffee.

Note

post run massage. legs were a bit sore and back was its usual nastiness, but I think these are starting to work. it seems the pinching in my ankle is due to something wrong with my calf as the post massage post run recovery has been great.

Note

the fuzzy end of a grass seed is intent on burrowing into the top of my toe. not comfortable, and it looks like it will take a fair bit of convincing to remove.

Yoga 1:00:00 [2]

hot yoga. lots of hammy and hip stretching.
