Orienteering race 24:59 [4] 2.0 km (12:30 / km)

NOL sprint at Bryces gully. possibly the slowest sprint race ever. had a bit of a wobble on 1, and then the next section was a bit messy. eventually decided that the whole thing was chaos, and just to enjoy running around such a crazy map, and then actually started hitting stuff heaps better.

Orienteering race 42:15 [5]

NOL relay. ran with Olly for qld2. crazy race. took the wrong way at the start, and ended up in the main pack, and came in on the first loop with a big group. in a smaller loop for the second, and didn't navigate as well, but I think we dropped a couple of teams anyway. lots of fun, and felt heaps better with the pack running than yesterday.

Orienteering race 1:11:24 [3] 8.9 km (8:01 / km)

NOL mass start race at Chewton diggings. worried about overdoing it in this race and turning my itb niggle into a full blown injury, so ran fairly conservatively. felt ok running at a moderate pace, but as soon as I tried to run harder the knee started to hurt. navigation was ok, but not great (a few wobbles in circles). and fitness was a bit lacking in the end. bit annoying in the middle part (before the legs died), to have people slowly pass, but not be able to get in a race with them, but it was more important to look after the legs. ah well.

Running 49:00 [3]

run around uni in the rain.

Running hills 6:00 [5]

2 x 3hills. same as last week, but it was a bit slow and muddy on the grass hill - ankle deep for the first 20m or so. times were pretty similar to last week though - 34, 35, 34, , 33, 32, 32.
