Running 45:00 [3]

slow run from biddy's place (in the gap!). L ITB was threatening evilness, so took it easy. felt heaps better after a swim and stretch. i think the problem is actually in the insertion of the outside of my calf (behind the knee), which is then pulling on my itb.

Running hills (Anzac Park TT) 27:50 [5] 5.2 km (5:21 / km) +350m 4:00 / km

good run this week. biddy took off at the start, and didn't pass her till 1/3 of the way in (about the same place I got clare last week). as usual I didn't have much pace early, but came good in the middle third. struggled a bit near the top of the last couple of hills where I went massively anerobic, but felt heaps better (and faster) than last week. good gains still to be had towards the end of the course as fitness improves.

easy run. left calf a little tight after last nights hill sprints - a bit of a novelty to have something other than my hip hurt.

run around the uni and back, and jog recoveries.

2 x 3 short hills at uni, max pace. 35 secs, 34, 32, , 32, 31, 32.
actually felt like I had some decent speed today. maybe the re-alignment has actually done something.

had stuff to do this afternoon, so planned to drive around to mt gravatt for sprintervals. took 20mins to drive from toowong to the wesley, and saw a sign that said 'extreme delays pacific motorway'. was never going to make it in time, so turned around (which took a while), and went home.

visit to syd to be re-aligned. hip feels heaps better already. no running for 24hrs
