Running 1:28:00 [3] 17.0 km (5:11 / km)

Long run from Ian's place at the Gap - ran up to South Boundary Rd and through Gap Creek. Pretty slow as it was quite steep, and I was feeling very average as my stomach didn't let me eat dinner last night. Great swim in Ian's pool after.

Saw a snake that had been chopped into slices and scattered down the track - I recon it tried to go through someones front wheel!

Also saw a guy riding a penny-farthing loaded up with pannier racks while I was driving home - didn't look like a particularly efficient way to get around!

Cycling 1:35:00 [4] 45.0 km (2:07 / km)

River ride with the trolls. OMG! it was so fast! As I discovered this morning, Wednesday was the social ride, and Friday is fast! managed not to get dropped and even managed about 90secs on the front which I was pretty happy with. Bit of a change from my cruisy rides around the Boonah countryside!

Running 57:00 [1] 10.0 km (5:42 / km)

Very easy run around Toohey forest before our cyclones meeting. Realised that while I've run here quite often, its always been with other people, and I've just followed, and I actually don't really know my way around very well - so lots of wrong turns and dead ends. oh well, nice run anyway!

Cycling 1:40:00 [3] 45.0 km (2:13 / km)

River ride with the trolls group. First ride back in Brisbane (since I moved on the weekend), not as scenic as Boonah, but great to be riding with the group again. Coffee at Merlos on George was awesome as usual.
I think my 2 days off after the race on the weekend was a good plan - I generally felt ok this morning, but got toasted on the hills.
