commute. cleaned my bikes on the weekend, including giving the chain on my commuter bike a 24hr soak in degreaser. so much better now that the chain isn't glued together with a years worth of gunk.
River loop + commute. wasn't super keen, but they'd started a concrete pour 2 doors up at 5.30, so I wasn't getting more sleep anyway. also got to wear my fancy new kit. right hip still a bit shitty after the needles yesterday. And did an extra lap on the arvo cos i got halfway home before i realised I'd forgotten my phone.
Its been a little cooler in the mornings this week (17), so according to a surprising number of brissy cyclists that means its time to bust out the full winter kit. even saw a couple of puffy jackets this morning.
The isOlation 3 day challenge and my half assed training coincided today. 40 mins of hills - so exactly my normal run. Felt a bit better this afternoon. The peeps and doggos out west toowong are all well into their arvo walk routine. Seen a few in the same spots 3 days in a row.
Anzac park run. Found my watch. Turns out I'm going slower than i thought. Seem to be a bit stuck at the moment - feeling rubbish so not doing much, but then feeling rubbish cos I'm not doing much. Meh.

Anzac park run. Similar to yesterday but tightness lasted a bit longer today. Time is approximate. I haven't seen my watch since the last time i went orienteering.
10 years today at EES. Back at the start the joke was me getting a real job after all my years as a uni bum. Today it's that i finally earned long service leave. Not sure when or if I'll ever get to take it. Our planned trip to the US at the end of the year is looking fairly unlikely.
