Run 1:08:00 [3] 11.5 km (5:55 / km)
A bit earlier than usual because of a breakfast engagement later (although, with summer starting to get into its swing, it's probably about time I started to get into the habit of doing weekend longer runs early). Probably a slight improvement on recent runs (although that may be partly because it was flatter), with a few decent patches in the second half, and back wasn't an issue after the first 10 minutes. Ventured into some new bits of the territory in the area between Melbourne Road and the back beach (featuring a few reasonably extravagant bits of real estate, although not quite in the Portsea range).
Thanks to the extra session on Monday, this is another (small) increment in the longest-week-since-2018 benchmark. I'm also pondering the question of which will be the next local government area in which I complete 100 streets: after a productive weekend, Mornington Peninsula has joined Boroondara and Melbourne (moving again now I'm back in the office a bit) in the 80s.
And the legal highlight of the week will be the private prosecution of Dan Andrews for treason which is being launched in the Myrtleford Magistrates Court on Friday (apparently the legal "brains" behind this operation was declared a vexatious ligitant years ago so the case is being brought in the name of his son). Presumably this will give us the chance to find out what magistrate-speak is for "go away and stop wasting our time".
