Morven Hill Race - sweeper marshal role. Walked most of the way up, gentle jog down. Nice and bright but very windy - against us on top on the way up - nice on your back coming down.

Easy run up Scolty the steep way, back via the saddle. The discomfort this morning was where the hamstring attaches at the top rather than the glute or back, and no problem during the run :)

10 minutes on the elliptical trainer to see if it helped my back/ glutes. I think it was good.

Note

Woke up with a really aching lower back and sore left glute. Took me back to my pre-operation days. Don't really understand exactly what triggered it. I seemd fine during and after the run and for the rest of Sunday. Maybe it was the wood cutting and chopping on Friday, but at that time I felt a little sore so stopped when I did and then it was no problem at all ion Sunday.


We had planned a 15km walk in to the Lairig Ghru via Chalamain Gap and we did it, seeing a couple of Golden Eagles on the way back, but it wasn't comfortable.
