After it is a long time ago since I ran the last time fast on paths/road, I tried today how easy or hard, respectivly, it is. It was not super easy, but for no intervall or fast road trainings until now it was actually not so bad.

Wonderful weather but a lot of wind.
First, I tried to drive a fast as possible to the coast, but that was not that good. In Frölunda it was so hard to find a good way and I had to stop and look on the phone quite often. After one hour it went much better, but the last 25km I had so much wind from the front, that it was super hard, it got really cold and was not so much fun anymore.

After my food poisoning I needed really a lot of time to feel better again and I felt super bad during the trainings until wednesday. But now I managed the three nice training in Tibro and also quite well. Not only good orienteering but also physically stronger again and super happy about that. Now I must be careful that I don't run directly to much, but at least the slow trainings are feeling nice again.

Again, a nice massstart with Jooseppi and Anders. Not full speed but also not slow. Had the longer forkings but managed to catch up again. Makes a lot of fun to run in completely different terrains than in Gothenburg are.

Amazing and special terrain. Really tough and hard to run in this stone area, but it was a great training. In the beginning I was quite slow and had little problems with reading the map, but I came better in and had a lot of fun. technically it was definitely not easy, but I managed to do a quite good job. Just with control 11 I'm obviously not satisfied.

Super nice terrain and a lot of fun. Massstart with Joospeppi and Anders, but not that fast. After 15min it got dark and needed our headlamps. Physically quite good and had definitely a nice training

Nice and technical terrain. O-technically quite okay but still a few things which were not efficient enough and to less control in the last meters before the control. Physically I felt quite tired, but for the orienteering it was good, that I wasn't really able to run fast. But it was a little bit better than yesterday

Fever, headache and circulatory problems are over, but the stomach is still in a bad shape. After 4 days eating nearly nothing, I'm also very powerless and far away from training. Probably I reached a new lowest weight record for the last years. First, I try to fix my stomach and food again and then try to come back to training, slowly.

Good training the last days and weeks and the plan was to continue with that, but in the last two days I was too tired and destroyed after the training or race, respectively. That's why I decided to do one or two rest days and I hope that my body can recover in that time.

Chasing start of the Natt-Cup ranking. I was starting 3:30min after the first runner and was from the second control on together with 3 other guys. It went pretty well until control 11, but after that I lost 7 minutes until the finish. I was very tired, became problems with my stomach and was not really able to concentrate anymore. I ran to the wrong controls even I knew where I was and had no motivation and power left. To control 15, I had to go on the toilet, which didn't help, sadly. After that, I was nearly at my control but then (I don't know why) decided to run already to control 16 and forgot about control 15. After 200m I remembered that I forgot control 15 and had to run back. I was really done with the world. With a 6th place in the end, the result was still quite good, but for me the competition could have end already at control 11.

I was really tired in both trainings and even more after the trainings. The running was so nice slow that I felt better after the training and my muscle soreness of the last strength training became less.

Really nice training. The terrain was a dream and I had a lot of fun. Felt physically good and ran therefor a little bit faster. There are maybe a few things which were not optimal (to control 1, 3 and 11), but I'm satisfied with my performance. To control 4 we were allowed to run through the red-crossed area under the thick line (made it nearly).

Physically I felt really good today, maybe too good. Massstart with a lot of other good guys and I had the stupid idea to go alone on the right route to the first control. Of course, it was slower and I was quite early far behind. Tried to speed up but lost even more time due to my bad orienteering to control 3. In general, I did 90% of the course alone and was mostly satisfied with my orienteering, but sometimes I didn't used my compass at all and lost a lot of time.
I definitely need to calm down a little bit for the next races, try to run not with full speed and focus more on the orienteering!

In the morning we watched Vasaloppet and after that went out for a nice run. The others ran longer and I did the second half on the bike. The problems with the Achilles tendon are definitely over and I'm back in a good training rhythm. Still not 100% sure how much I can run again or how many days in a row, but I will find it out and I will get better and better
