Mt Baw Baw !! Such a lovely place to run, though the undergrowth was a bit thick in shorts... Felt rather shocking waking up after an awesome night at Rob and Kathryns beautiful wedding. Also right big toe very painful from dancing injury...
Slow, few small mistakes (compass may have been useful), a minute slower than Jas I think?

Finished off lastnight's session in this morning ;)
Ran 3x vineyard hill again. Pushed hard and was knackered at the top of each, sat down for a bit then recovery jog back down. Very pleased to be faster than last night (did have a head wind lastnight) and each one also got faster even though I felt like I started flat out!

Maybe should have done more but it got hot and sunny and after the last my legs were really wobbly.
I plan to race myself up this hill each time I come home :)

Ran dam loop in reverse- up Marble quarry track and down fire track (and some terrain) to horses. Legs a bit tired going up the steeper bits, tried to take small steps. Feels great to be running around my old haunts and happy to feel reasonably fit. Few stops to follow echidna, watch sunset and say hi to old horsie.

Got carried away laying slate with my Dad so didn't head out for run till after sunset...
Did 2x long steep hill past vineyard/water tank on cow hill, from the no trespassing gate to the next gate.
Amazingly ran exactly same time for each without looking at watch:

Recovery was jog back down (quite long).

Ran to morialta to meet for nice morning run with Jenny- up deep view to moores rd to colonial drive. Felt quite good and nice pace, fast enough but could talk still. The run didn't feel too long although my legs were a bit reluctant coming back down steepish and legs tired afterwards.

High tops loop, feeling bit average after a big, looong and slightly boozy lunch but a beautiful evening. I love my home scrub and hills more that anywhere :)
