JUKOLA- ran the 5th leg for the "vic nuggets" .
was a very exciting experience but made a bit of a mess of the orienteering. Got pretty distracted by all the tracking, groups of Fins discussing their being lost, people everywhere. Should have tried to concentrate on clean navigation...didnt lose any places though.
Physically felt surprisingly good
What an awesome race and really cool map- wish i could run it again

spent all the rest of the day feeling confused about what time is was- jet lag returned

15 mins in the forest around the clubhouse. reading the map really well

warm up and down for orienteering, just stretching legs out along the tracks. felling pretty fresh

getting legs back in running mode after travel. mostly running on tracks but a little bit of familiarisation an jukola training area- forest is really cool to run through. feeling pretty heavy in the legs

arrived in helsinki, then turku.lots of trudging around looking for the TuS clubhouse.
watched jimbo, aj, alex and blair run in the forssa games but struggling to stay awake.
cant believe its light at 11 pm and the sun is actually...no more winter till next year!
