orienteering 35:00 [3]

Ran a course on a 1:5000 map on the Yarra, really nice area with many interesting bits. Had trouble with some unmarked tracks and vegetation but forced me to keep my direction.
Did last 9mis loop as a flat out sprint and was orienteering better than at the start.
Quite slow in parts because of vegetation..

Running warm up/down 25:00 [3]

Warm up/down for morning intervals at Kew ovals, 10mins there 15 warmdown. Felt pretty good despite it being morning.

Running 25:00 [4]

The intervals.
4x 200m (about 800 pace, a bit slow because legs still warming up)
5x 90 sec hills with same rec jog back down
Felt quite strong on the hill and definately running further up than 2wks ago, unfortunately no hr.

swimming 25:00 [3]

Rode an extra 15mins to collingwood pool rather than going to Kew pool in hope that it might be 50m but unfortunately it was 25m, very crowded and so warm I could hardly breathe. Frustrating swim, just did o1 km. Arms felt a bit sore after that!

Running intervals 37:00 [4]

Intervals with Kay at Paradise oval.
4x 800m in 3:08-3:14. Recovery 3 mins.
4x 400m in 90sec with 60sec rec.
Felt quite good though had to push pretty hard to do the 400s fast enough.

AM ride to Glenelg along the coast from Hindmarsh with Reuben. Pretty windy heading south but rode behind and kept up a fast speed. Rode hard and fast cadence the whole way.

Arvo run to Nth adelaide horse paddoks, conked out halfway and had no energy and couldnt get hr above 130 so did stretches while Reubs did ints. Felt better running back.

From my place up Montacute rd, down Corkskrew rd, up Gorge rd to Cudlee creek where we stopped for an Australia day pie, then home via Athelstone. Nice riding up the big hills on my bike :)

6X 90 sec hill ints up a hill in Kew. 60sec rec for the first 3 then 90sec rec to get far enough back down the hill.
Warm up and down thru the streets with Reuben.
Felt pretty tired. Legs felt better in the last few but im just tired.

Ride to the beach with Reubs via the yarra trail, and south of the city and along the coast to Brighton and back along the beautiful river. Nice ride..felt good though tired before and after. Bike was feeling good after a bit of a clean.

At Ballarat.Creswick- 4 loops, a pairs map memory and controll picking.
Sailors diggings- shadowed by belinda then reuben.
Very useful to orienteer again. Lots of bad and lots to work on which is good.
100% buggered at the end not feeling so great.

tired, feeling the start of a cold which a few ppl around me have had so didn't do intervals though i had time. Went to bed early instead. Don't want to get sick.

1 hour body boarding before lunch then 2hrs in the arvo.It was really rough in the arvo so not as enjoyable and impossibly hard to go where you wanted because of strong currents. Arms and stomach have worked especially hard.
Best ever newyears day hangover cure!!

Running 55:00 [3]

Ran from the beach back to Corny pt. On the sand for the first bit but it was really too slow to handle so ran on a track through the dunes. Feeling ok but not fast. Was a real struggle because of the wind.
