Struck down by a virus! Felt tired Saturday afternoon/evening, supported the Lordshill 10km on Sunday but wasn't feeling great. Spent the rest of the week in bed sleeping.

RR10 Manor Farm - 15th
Plan was to start a little slower and catch people as they faded. Kind of worked but not as well as I wanted. Do find the heat quite tough to run in. A few cool sections of trails. Gained on Ellie and Neil J in the woods and on the path by the estuary. Got onto Andy Lewis's shoulder just at the final hill (he had stormed past earlier) and managed to push on strongly and overtake. Almost got another Lordshill guy but he out sprinted me/cut me up a bit. Worst position of the season but not far off, hopefully can get another 4 better later on.

Fast! Got a bit stuck at the back on the first few, had to go round two people on one of them. Was getting dropped so decided to jump up and hang on, really good fun running hard as a group. Maybe needed spikes! Inner thigh a bit tight after.
