Canoeing (C4) 2:48:55 intensity: (26 @1) + (12:00 @2) + (2:23:00 @3) + (13:29 @4) 22.0 mi (7:41 / mi)

Ed Wessels race with Gary, Gloria and Paul.

16 minutes of warm up in here, then the race. First place c4. This boat really moves..... topping 12 mph at times apparently (though I mistakenly had my watch in indoor biking mode so no speed or distance data)

Course starts downstream for about 1/4 mile before a buoy turn, then almost 5 miles upstream to a buoy turn, then downstream past the start and continue for about 12 miles more to the finish.

Cycling (Spin bike) 30:00 [3]

PT 30:00 [1]

Various shoulder and hip exercises. Feeling pretty beat up at the moment so decided to take an easy day and work on some of the achy parts

Charles with Kevin. Windy out. Felt very sluggish for first 30 minutes, then finally warmed up and had some get up and go

In the rain on the concord/sudbury with Steve. HR data is suspect, as at one- point it rose almost 25 bpm with no increase in effort and stayed there for a few minutes before dropping back to where it came from. Dont know what to do to make it more reliable....

Nashua with Kevin. This did not go so well - I was done after about 3 hours, and wobbly as anything in boats waves (which there were plenty of, there being 8 C2's out there). Gotta assume it is allergy based, as my sinuses feel like they have pressure and apparently the anti-histamines I am taking can't control them. Hope the tree pollen is done soon. Probably didn't eat or drink enough either, which would be why I was out of energy.
