I was slow. The snow was tough to run in but I navigated alright. I was a little slow starting my watch....

I spent 15 minutes actually orienteering and the rest of my 40 mins on course utterly distracted and enjoying my time orienteering with Lucille and Ryan.

Note
Went with Ian C and took Lucille and Ryan for a warm house/visit bunnies break from the outside. Oh boy! Cute kids being all nice with some cute, soft bunnies is just the bee's knees :D

I won! LOLZ
So, due to the bunny adventure, I was sans spikes for the most spikes required race of the weekend - oops. Also, loop 1 and 4 didn't count due to the snow to cliff danger ratios... so I took it easy on loop one, ran a wee bit harder and cleaner on loops 2 & 3, and then moseyed out for 4. Quite slippery without spikes and I was super cautious on the rock/snow/steep downhills.
I think maybe having set there a number of times for OAK may have helped as I just flowed but still I am quite entertained that I came first as I was not trying.
