In Ely in the 8+. Good outing, lots more technique to work on. Not over compressing, driving in the last quarter.

JK Relay-1st womens open :). Finally proved to myself I can orienteer, about time tbh.
Set off in 6th not really nea anyone but not at all far down on the leaders. Felt super good and passed people pretty early on I think, not sure when though! Saw Rona quite early on but was a fair way down but kept working and finally caught up after spectator. From then on kept pushing and came back in first having passed Lizzie on the run in.

JK Long. So so frustrated at my own idiocy. Number 3 blew it all and after that was just a long slog round, on the plus side was spiking most controls from then on, especially after the road crossing.

JK Middle. So much fun!!! Terrain was super rapid and as it was such a short race could just go all out :) Nav pretty good, apart from the last few controls where I caught Laura and started bananaering into everyone and just messing around way too much in general-probably 30secs plus lost from this.

JK Sprint. Not my finest race but not my worst. Panicked early on when I couldn't find my 3 after starting to look in the courtyard too early but settled down. Then later on got caught out on which side the control was on on the long thin buildings so lost a fair amount of time here. Cecilie caught me but there was no chance I was going to keep up and was dying pretty hard before the map exchange let alone after! Second half of the course was a lot better navigationally and felt a lot less panicked and out of control. Need more sprint practice at speed if I want to do well at sprints-brain didn't cope well!
