Being in the area, I wanted to take a ride over Mt Greylock . Started at the visitor center. Steep start and my legs were not warmed up yet. No shoulder but the cars were few and going slow. Stopped for lunch (blueberry bagel) at the top. Steep ride down the northern road, had to stop once when some cobweb hit my face and just couldn't get it off.
Some good D2R2 practice on Lanesboro Mt road as it turned to dirt and climbed up over the shoulder of the ridge.

From rhe rental house onto one of my favorite loops along the Housitonic, then turn west in Great Barrington through Alford and West Stockbridge. Forced the pace up the hill east out of town, over the pike and a fast run to 183.
