A rainy morning. Last night I reset the apartment's router and spent the next several hours trying to restore its setup. I think I succeeded, our computers' hook up, but Boris and Ross are having problems.
This morning is just like home, 8C and rainy....

orienteering 1:05:00 [1] 6.0 km (10:50 / km)
15c shoes: Icebug Celeritas

A walk around the Stora Tuna Backebo map, courtesy of Leif.
The club was hosting an event, Tunadubbeln, sprint and middle, 540 competitors, but many of the elite were already in Mora on the training maps preparing for next week.
Jude and I walked and jogged. Calf was sore, but got no worse.
Afterward got some delicious mushroom soup, made with mushrooms picked on the area. Must say, it was better than mine, must be the local mushrooms, and cooking talent.

Note

Pack up the bubo caravan and tow it up to Mora, picking up Rosalind along the way.
Place the caravan at a campsite, then over to dinner at Sam, Ross, Robbie hostel, right next to the Vasaloppet finish line.
Dinner by Sam, congenial company around the table, then, although it is still light out, it's 10 o'clock and time for bed.
Our homw in Mora.

Plane, train, bus, walk, and we arrived at USA Team HQ in Uppsala.
My, this country makes the USA look like it's stuck in the last century.
Speedy and smooth train ride, then a bus which is nice and low so our bags just roll on and off, then we walk from the apartments, and in 400m you are in open country, no cars to be seen.
And bike racks at the train station for 100's of bikes, and covered parking spots for them too.

Kung Bjorn, he is somewhere in there.

Another scale recalibration.
This time I piled on some barbell weights, 90 lbs worth. Turns out the scale was reading 3 lbs low.
At least I'm now pretty sure it's accurate.
