Morning bike ride to check the flooding havoc from the Deerfield River.
Looks like the river crested about 15-20 feet above the normal water level. Could see debris hanging high in trees along the banks. Trees piled against bridge abutments (causing a closing of I-91). As we passed there the divers were going in for an inspection of the footings. It never would have occurred to me that Mass Highway had a dive team. This kind of stuff must be so expensive. Hope we can get the Tea Party to kick in a few bucks to help out.

Went over the backside of Sugarloaf Mt on Hillside St, never been that way before. I wonder how Sugarloaf would be for orienteering?
