Running long (Ian Hodgson leg 4) 2:00:00 [3] 18.0 km (6:40 / km) +1050m 5:10 / km
shoes: inov8 x-talon 215

Starting from the campsite ran with Randyslacks, Lloyd and some Penine folk out to the start of the 4th leg and then did the route going up and over fairfield. Glorious sunny weather and amazing views, but the blisteringly cold wind at the top of Fairfield was a reminder of yesterday. Took the fast option of sliding down on our arses on the final descent, fun but risky with the odd patch of rock hidden amongst the tufty grass. Lent Randyslacks my spare hat I had packed when we were on Fairfield - Jenny would have been proud.

Running (Ian Hodgson reccie) 1:08:00 [2] 10.0 km (6:48 / km) +535m 5:22 / km
shoes: montrail phoenix

Went to reccie the third leg of the Ian Hodgson relay going up to and past Angle Tarn with Randyslacks. It was cold, wet and windy a real character building run in the Lakes. The final part of the leg was a foot under water. We were unsurprised to find out a little while later that the race had been cancelled.

Bouldering (The works) 45:00 [0]

short but hard session with Neil. Knocked off one of the two problems I was stuck on and made good progress on the other. Did a few other new routes good enough to add to the Oli file.

Bouldering (The Works) 1:30:00 [0]

A bit like last week, managed about 30 minutes of good climbing and then my forearms were blown and I was struggling. Have two really fiddly problems to work on now so looking forward to going back. Have also completed some ripper problems, Oli should be very scared!
